Bottom Panel Misaligned
The finger joints on the bottom panel came out a bit uneven. Was concerned about their strength so I applied several thin coats of unthickened epoxy to the joint, sanded, then faired them with some SilverTip Quikfair Fairing Putty which I bought from Duckworks online. Easy to use and sand
but the fairing putty is essentially microballoons which I don't think will add much, if any, strength. Note that the fairing putty is quite light after it cures so if you plan to varnish areas where you use it, add some sawdust or something else that will color the putty to match the wood you're using it on. Came out nice in the end...
